things that are canon for this game, but may not be true for the show; this section is for The Hub and/or Torchwood Three specifically.

If anyone were to really look into who was paying the hotel bills for the Rifters, it would point to a small software company called Ascendo Tuum (Latin for "Up Yours"), located on Herbert Street. The company doesn't exist, of course, and two or three times a month Ianto drives over to the address to collect the mail.

Retcon is the common slang term for Jack's Amnesia Pill. It is technically a short-term memory-eraser. That is, it can be used to make someone forget something that just happened, or that happened very recently, while the information is still in short-term memory. Theoretically, enough of the Amnesia Drug should be able to erase large chunks of memory, but it's not a selective process. It would essentially be like rolling back Windows to the previous install point. Persons with a highly trained mind can overcome Retconning; the information moves from short-term to long-term memory much faster in some individuals, and memories can be triggered though external stimulation.
The pterodactyl is NOT named Myfanwy. This name is used by the cast/crew. In simple terms... it's OOC information. Don't call it that.
