1.

Read this. If you haven't read this, and you end up confused by something on the FAQ, that's your fault, not mine.

2.

Don't be stupid; if you're obviously inactive (no posts, no participating in scenes of any kind, no replying to scenes/comments/anywhere where your character has been requested, etc) you will be removed; don't be stupid; no god-modding; please don't be stupid; no Mary Sues/Gary Stus; please don't be stupid.

3.

Please don't use small font throughout your entries/posts/comments. It's really hard on the eyes.

4.

Make sure your journal name is somewhat logical. If you're applying as Rose Tyler, and your journal name is rstlr, we're going to ask you to go back and get one that doesn't look like someone mashed a bunch of keys together. rose__tyler would be better. tylerxrose would be better. aka_badwolf would be better. Anything would be better, really, as long as it applies to your character. Using "ilovensync" for The Doctor would just be...well, not smart. PLEASE APPLY WITH THE JOURNAL YOU INTEND TO USE FOR THIS GAME. Don't apply anonymously, don't apply with your everyday journal, don't apply with your example journal, APPLY WITH THE JOURNAL YOU WILL BE USING FOR. THIS. GAME.

5.

And of course, don't apply with a journal that you're using for another community/for another purpose. That's fairly obvious.

6.

Spellcheck is your friend. No one will be interested in writing threads with you if you write them in lowercase/use netspeak. If that's a problem for you, this is not the game for you. Using them in-character is one thing (although I doubt anyone here will want to write with you if you use them, period). Using them when writing a scene? Goodbye.

7.

If you want to leave the community, drop the mod a comment/PM. If you just delete your journal, don't undelete it later/get a new journal and act like nothing happened. The second I notice that your journal has been deleted, you are gone. The end.

8.

Please clear all major storylines with a mod first.  (You can reach all of us via tw3mod at gmail.)  These include, but are not limited to: murder, death, pregnancy (pregnancies are required to last nine months--no discussion), marriage, kidnapping (although kidnapping Ianto is both loved and encouraged.  Preferably at least once a week) and so on.  This is not The Dating Game; it's a sci-fi based multifandom game.  If everyone starts asking to marry off/knock up their characters, the answer will almost always be no.  If you do not clear major storylines with the mods first, Mod 2 will cheerfully post in the OOC that everyone is to ignore everything that you just said and to carry on.

If the characters involved agree to being killed off, and give the mods a heads-up, that's fine. The Master wasn't just killed off with no forewarning, they agreed to it in advance. As long as you let the other person know and they're fine with it, that's fine. Just walking up to another character and going *shoots you dead* will not fly.  And the mods would still appreciate a heads-up.

9.

No cartoon characters (if you're applying as someone from a cartoon/anime/whatever, they need a non-cartoon PB).

Captain Jack Harkness's writer says that killing Jack is fine (oh, the joys of being unkillable), but if you want him to stay dead for more than a few minutes, they would prefer to discuss that first.

Ianto Jones' writer will do incredibly unpleasant things to anyone who dares to kidnap Ianto. He's had quite enough of that for the time being, thank you.
